This is one of my favorite Natural Standard books yet! The content is extremely thorough. There is a clear overview of each medical condition, followed by a detailed discussion of the available herbal remedies. What I love most is that it explains the potential mechanism of action for the different therapies. Plus, there is a huge safety appendix that highlights the potential adverse effects and interactions. This is a terrific resource for health professionals!

Perfect resource for pharmacy or other students in the sciences/medical field! This book provides a thorough presentation of herbs and evidence that is available supporting their use for certain conditions. Sections such as those that present dosing and pharmacology information, case studies, and review questions are clear, concise, and totally designed with student in mind. It is rare to find such useful information in one place!
